After being a Kapuso for ten years, Lovi Poe is happy and contented as she renew again her contract with GMA Network. “I’m happy I’m here. I’m just really blessed and really grateful kasi 10 years nila akong inalagaan. Thankful naman ako dahil lagi naman akong inaalagaan ng GMA-7. Ever since I started, I was 15 or 16, I’m just happy to be working with the same good-hearted beautiful people here in the network,” she said.
And after 8 months after her last project “Beautiful Strangers,” Lovi will be back again on primetime, this time with Tom Rodriguez in a series titled “Someone To Watch Over Me,” similar title to ABS-CBN’s shelved teleserye starring Judy Ann Santos with Richard Yap and Diether Ocampo.
According to a report by GMANetwork.com, Lovi is cast as the simple wife of a finance professional played by Tom. However, as time passes by, Tom’s character suddenly forgets details about his wife, and he eventually finds out that he has Alzheimer’s disease.
Slated for airing this August, “Someone To Watch Over Me” is directed by Mario J. delos Reyes.
