Ian Joseph Prelligera received three chair turns from the judges. He’s so far the best (for us) in terms of choosing the best song piece for the blind auditions, veering away from the technicalities of singing – clarity, diction, depth, intonation – the chair-turning-factor for me is how this young boy sang his heart out. The message and the emotion embedded in the song were all delivered.
We agree with all the words said by the judges. Coach Bamboo said, “What you did is great. You sang your heart out. You have the emotion and you are reaching for the star.”
“You are a star. You are a good a singer. You are connected to the audience. It’s exciting to see you on stage because it’s very rare for a great 7-year-old singer,” said coach Lea.
Coach Sharon was so amotional, “I made me cry. You took me with your emotions because you have a powerful voice. You moved my heart.”
Ian Joseph Prelligera chose Sharon for he’s a fan of her songs. They even sang ‘Bituing Walang Ningning’ together after she picked the Megastar.
May of the viewers will surely agree of raping the play button of this video and hearing this kid sing over and over again. He’s only 7 years old, but he has full of emotions. This is the next singing star.
Enjoy their unique rendition of “Wag Ka Nang Umiyak.”
