Data from AGB Nielsen and Kantar Media on “Encantadia’s” pilot episode versus heart-pounding “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” ‘Ultimatum’ episode on July 18 is not surprising since we all know that AGB Nielsen is to GMA Network and Kantar Media is to ABS-CBN.

But on July 19, AGB Nielsen and Kantar Media both agreed that “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” adjusts up while “Encantadia” adjusts down in TV ratings. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” was able to capture 26.3% on AGB Nielsen’s Urban Luzon and 44.2% on Kantar Media’s nationwide data while “Encantadia” received 23.5% on AGB Nielsen’s Urban Luzon and 19.6% on Kantar Media’s nationwide data.
“Encantadia’s” rating on Urban Luzon was reduced by 2.6 points on Urban Luzon (from 26.1% on AGB Nielsen data on July 18) and 1.4 points nationwide (from 21% on Kantar Media’s data on July 18).
