Phenomenal Box Office star Vice Ganda finally was able to try Facebook Live on Friday midnight.
Facebook Live, which offers streaming video, added a host of features to make it easier for users to find and share clips from friends, celebrities and media companies, marking its biggest push yet into real-time video. Facebook Live is the platform positioned as a major challenger to Twitter’s Periscope live-streaming service and Snapchat’s video features.
Vice Ganda’s first ever Facebook live stream was recorded live from the “It’s Showtime” host’s car while on their way in meeting friends somewhere in BGC. It was supposed to be short video since it’s just a trial but was extended to more than 6 minutes for she still don’t know how to end the app. Vice even compared the experience to being live in DZMM Teleradyo.
Right after the livestream, Vice posted on her verified Facebook Page, “Bongga tong Facebook Live! Thanks guys for joining my test broadcast. Gawin ko ti later sa showtime. Nytie! Mwah! Vavoooohh!”
As of this writing, Vice Ganda has already 6 Facebook live videos, meaning she’s really enjoying the experience.
