Vice Ganda was not able to perform at the #DU31 victory party did not push through after power lines were busted amid the downpour.
Right after their live show on “It’s Showtime,” actor-comedian-host Vice Ganda flew to Davao to attend and perform for the grand victory party of incoming president Rodrigo Duterte at Davao City’s Crocodile Park on Saturday (June 4). Vice was one of the performers expected in the event together with Jimmy Bondoc, Vice Ganda, Gladys Guevarra, Carlos Agassi, Ivy Violan, Bernardo Bernardo, Mark Mabasa, Isabel Granada, KZ Tandingan, Andrew E, Bradley Holmes, Daniel Matsunaga, Erich Gonzales with hosts Arnel Ignacio and Kat de Castro.
At 9:00pm, Vice Ganda tweeted, “Lumapag na sa Davao ang kagandahan ko.”
Unfortunately, the Kapamilya comedian was not able to perform because of heavy rains which led to blackout. “Nakakiyak! Di man nakapagperform dhil sumabog ang kuryente ok lang. Sapat na saking nagkita kita tayo, nagkawayan at nagkamayan. ❤️ U Davao!,” he tweeted.
Kat de Castro on Twitter further explained, “Guys, @vicegandako was not able to perform because of the heavy rains which led to the blackout. Nilapitan na lang nya yung fans.”
Vice ended up waving his hands to the fans and saying thank you to those who waited for him and celebrated Duterte’s victory in Davao. “I love you Davao! #DU31”
