It’s not only the contestants that need an interpreter, sometimes even judges. Though the event’s seven months passed already, when reuploaded by a certain Jessix Resuello Sia on Facebook yesterday, it became viral like it just happened yesterday.
On this viral video, the 2014 Miss Southeast Asia Thu Vu was tasked to ask Sang-Jin Lee of Korea, but unfortunately, her voice was so soft and her English is not that good, but it’s understandable since English isn’t her first language.
Thanks to Vice Ganda for simply repeating the Miss Thu Vu’s question with clarity, “Her question is, ‘What do you think is the essence of winning this pageant?’”

Mister Korea Sang Jin Lee ended up as 2nd runner-up in the competition.
Instead of laughing at Thu Vu, be like Vice Ganda who helped Sang-Jin Lee and the people in the venue to understand the question. There’s no harm in helping.
