From being a lead and title-roler in the remake of Thalia’s hit Mexicanovela “Marimar” last year, Miss World 2013 Megan Young share the lead with Mark Herras in “Conan, My Beautician.” From being a drama star, she will now try a comedy genre.
One of GMA Network’s 66th anniversary presentation, “Conan, My Beautician” revolves around Conan (Mark) who will meet Ava (Megan) and will pretend he is gay to be able to work for the salon. He needs the job badly to save the life of his hospitalized mother and to make both ends meet for their family after being thrown away from their hometown by the ugly mannered Chika La Chaka (Cacai Bautista).
Also starring Gerald Napoles, Betong Sumaya, Boobsie, Tetay, Lotlot De Leon, Jay Manalo, Balang, Chlaui Magundayao, Vangie Labalan and Antonette Garcia, “Conan, My Beautician” launches this coming June 26 (Sundays).
