GMA Network is the preferred station during the May 9, 2016 elections.
In the survey conducted by AGB Nielsen, GMA Network’s “Eleksyon 2016” was the preferred election coverage among Mega Manila households.
“Eleksyon 2016” beats ABS-CBN’s “Halalan 2016” getting 3 spots in the top 10. Halalan 2016 wasn’t able to penetrate the top 10 ranking on May 9.
Meanwhile, GMA Network’s primetime newscast “24 Oras” was the top rater on that day at 26.9% followed by “Elekyon 2016” primetime with 20.9% and “Eat Bulag!” with 18.4%. “TV Patrol” and “It’s Showtime” were the only Kapamilya shows that made it to the top 10 ranking at number 4 and number 9 respectively.
