Currently in Hawaii for a vacation, Presidential sister Kris Aquino did not forget to extend her congratulations to the presumptive Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, Leni Robredo after winning the final tally of votes by Congress sitting as the National Board of Canvassers on the night of May 27. On the official count of Congress, Robredo led the race with 14,418,817 votes, or just 263,473 ahead of Marcos who got 14,155,344.
Aquino’s lengthy Instagram post says, “A friend told me- Kris, wag mo naman itaya ang lahat, paano kung matalo si Leni? I smiled in reply & said marami kaming kakampi sa langit.
Happy Birthday Sec Jesse! @lenirobredo said in her speeches, Sec Jesse was my friend, we only met later. I asked her for a pic for IG posting during PNoy’s birthday. I called my cousin @bamaquino & volunteered to shoot an endorsement for Leni. We shot March 15 at their home.
How heartwarming to have gotten to know Aika, Tricia & Jillian. Apart from my MOM, @lenirobredo is my IDOL when it comes to being the BEST MOM.
