Also a Duterte supporter, Kat proudly says that she “still believes in ABS-CBN’s credibility” despite airing the Anti-Duterte ad. He also asked the netizens to look for the person who funded the said commercial instead of blaming the network for being biased.
Aired on major TV stations in the country ABS-CBN, GMA Network and TV5, the Anti-Duterte ad uses innocent children to ruin the image of the leading presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte.
Here’s Kat’s full post:
Unang una sa lahat, Duterte supporter ako. Obvious naman di ba? Pero it’s time to speak up na rin since most of you are asking me bakit pinayagan ng ABS-CBN umere yung ad na yun.
There is no law in this country that prohibits negative campaigning. Sa States, ginagawa rin yun. Kahit product or candidate pa man yan.
Instead of focusing on where it aired, FOCUS on who funded the ad.SINO BA ANG MAY PERA PARA MAGPLACE NG NEGATIBONG AD SA NUMERO UNONG NETWORK SA BANSA?
Yan ang dapat ninyong tanungin. Hindi yung puro ABS-CBN Bias ang hinihirit ninyo, okay?
I still believe in ABS-CBN’s credibility. It makes mistakes but I think when push comes to shove, it will still serve the majority.
