Before he became a gay, he had a childhood sweetheart before named Betty. In “Gandang Gabi Vice”, Christine Reyes and Ali Khatibi surprised Vice about the guesting of Betty.
Betty described how Jose Marie Borja Viceral court a girl like her. Betty was the most beautiful girl in their place and lots of men were doing their best to choose them including Vice. She said that he always gave her love letters using aromatic papers and pens.

To make people laugh and be remembered, being a comedian is not enough. For years of making his name in the showbiz industry, he has created lots of punchlines which is useful now in expressing own feelings.
These could be the reason why his movies, TV shows, and concerts hit the tastes of the people and totally boosts the comedy entertainment of our country.
In an article from Push, here are some of his punchlines that influences the present generation.
- “Karakaraka” – in Filipino it means “agad-agad” or in an instant
Ex. “‘Wag ka ng magpatumpik tumpik pa, dapat karakaraka!”
- “Echosera” – a ridiculous flatterer or a liar
Ex. “Sabi mo mas maganda ako sa kanya kahit siya ang beauty queen. Echosera ka pala ate eh!
- “Puchu Puchu”– mediocre or nothing special
Ex. “Sana naman um-effort kayo ng konti sa costume para hindi ganyang puchu puchu lang ang kinalabasan.”
- “May nag-text”– a remark that pertains to an imaginary message sent to someone
Ex. “May nag-text, hiyang hiya naman daw siya sa sinabi mo na ang ganda ng balat mo!”
- “Shunga” – idiotic or stupid
Ex. “Ang shunga lang nung naisip mo na pagsamahin ang magkaibang bagay.”
- “Pag may time”– if you can
Ex. “Pahinga pahinga rin pag may time!”
- “Eksaherada” – overly exaggerated
Ex. “Napaka eksaherada lang ng pagkakasabi mong guwapo siya, eh hindi naman pala!”
- “Push mo yan”– go for it
Ex. “Nabalitaan ko nagpapapayat ka na daw, maganda ‘yan. Push mo ‘yan!”
- “Severe”– fiercely
Ex. “Ang ganda naman ng talent mo, ang flexible mo lang ng severe.”
- “Junakis” – child, son or daughter
Ex. “Boyfriend pa ang inuuna mo eh ang dami mo na ngang junakis.”
- “Ay hindi!” – an reaction to counter a person’s disbelief
Ex. “Ay hindi ka magaling, sobrang galing mo. Hiyang hiya naman sa ‘yo ang mga scientist gaya ni Einstein.”
- “Paandar” – new venture
Ex. “Ano nanaman bang paandar yang diet diet na nalalaman mo?”
- “Thunders” – old people
Ex. “Gusto ko kapag naging thunders na ako fashionista parin ang dating ko.”
- “Ang peg”– idol
Ex. “Ay gusto mo rin dalhan ka ng ‘foods?’ Deniece Cornejo lang ang peg?!”
- “Unkabogable” – unbeatable
Ex. “Sa lahat ng mga nag-perform ngayong araw na ito, sa inyo ang pinaka unkabogable!”
- “Grabe siya oh!” – an utterance to express amazement or shock
Ex. Max: “Sabi ni James magpapakasal na daw sila ni Nadine bukas!
Mia: “Ay, grabe siya oh! Agad agad?”
- “Meme” – mother
Ex. “Hayaan mo, si Meme Vice na ang bahala sa ex mo na nang-iwan sayo!”
- “Waley” – poor or ill-fitting
Ex. “Sana hindi pinipilit na magsuot ng strappy heels lalo kung waley naman sa outfit!”
- “Havey” – good
Ex. “Tawang tawa naman ako sa pag-prank ni Anne ka Vhong! In fairness, havey ‘yung ginawa niya!”
- “Vorlog” – sleep or rest
Ex. “Masaya ‘yung trip teh pero nakakapagod ng bongga kaya kailangan ko ng mega vorlogngayon!”
