ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes asked Binibini 29 Maxine Medina, the eventual winner of the Miss Universe-Philippines crown, for an advice she can give to a girl who wants to quit studying.
CVV: Even if her parents can afford to send her to school, a 15-year-old girl wants to stop her studies. What would be your advice to her?
Maxine: I would tell the girl to study hard no matter what their parents would tell them because having an education is something that cannot have that anybody else. Education can make you even a better person.
Maxine Medina is the crowned winner of Binibining Pilipinas 2016 — Maxine will represent the Philippines to this year’s Miss Universe pageant.
