Almost everyone wants to be famous, just like Maine Mendoza, the other half of AlDub.

Lauren, when she was launched as Via Pereira (originally played by Claudine Barretto) in ABS-CBN’s 2011 remake of “Mula Sa Puso,” was considered one of the most promising youngstars until she left ABS-CBN for GMA Network.
Maine’s other half on AlDub, Alden Richards was paired with Lauren in “Mundo Mo’y Akin” (2013). It was her very first Kapuso teleserye when she transferred to GMA Network in 2012. Lauren was last seen as a wicked character Antonia Santibañez in the new retelling of “Marimar” on GMA Network, topbilled by her sister Megan Young with Tom Rodriguez.
She’s now working full time in a production company sa Greenhills.
