This looks familiar!
On last year’s MMFF, an alleged ticket-swapping went viral after a netizen posted a picture claiming his ticket was swapped for another film festival entry. A day after, the organizers released a statement on their official Facebook page, calling it a “baseless issue.”
Just yesterday, another similar issue was shared by one of Rodrigo Duterte’s supporter pointing an alleged vote-swapping happened at 7-Eleven Bagacay Branch, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
The post reads:
Para sa lahat,
Paki check po ng resibo ng 7 eleven election cup n binibili ninyo, make sure na yung cup mismo ang i scan.
Kasi kanina, bumili kami sa 7 eleven ng drinks at Duterte cup yung kinuha nmin, ngtaka ako bkit ung carton n may barcode ang iniscan at hindi yung cup, usually nman pg bumibili kmi yung cup n mn ang iniscan, so when I check the reciept, ngtaka ako bkit Roxas ang nakalagay sa resibo, that means my vote was not counted.
My point here, sa simpleng voting pa lng sa mga stores may dayaan na, nababayaran n yung mga tao, how much more pa kaya sa actual election, sa lahat po ng magpaparticipate sa simple voting lalo na sa 7 eleven, check nyo yung resibo.

paki kalat na lang po. #PHVoteDuterte #Duterteparin
A Duterte fan already asked 7-11 through its official Facebook page for which the page replied with, “Thank you for raising your concerns. We apologise for the inconvenience, rest assured that we will address this matter and keep you updated.”
This is the second time (first time was in 2010 where Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III won) that 7-11 will conduct the “7-election: The voice of the GULP generation” local survey campaign. The result of the survey is not only on per region basis. On the site, you can select the province and municipality, so you’ll know who is the leading presidentiable in a particular area.
As of April 22, Duterte is still the leading candidate at the 7-Elections poll and Roxas is on the lowest.
Comment: Isolated case does not mean the entirety. I would like to think that this is more of a publicity (obviously bad for the brand) than an issue.
