This sounds like their past series “Dwarfina” but this time, the Louise delos Reyes and Juancho Triviño starrer will be placed on the Afternoon Prime slot. Juancho and Louise will be supported by a powerhouse cast including veteran actors Gina Alajar, Rez Cortez, Assunta de Rossi, and Maricar de Mesa with Buboy Villar, James Teng, Liezel Lopez, Marika Sasaki, and Balang and under the direction of Mark Sicat Dela Cruz.

“Encatandia” was a popular fantaserye which first aired in 2005, and spawned two sequel series, “Etheria: Ang Ikalimang Kaharian ng Encantadia” and “Encantadia: Pag-Ibig Hanggang Wakas.” The cast included Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, Karylle, and Diana Zubiri who played the 4 gem keepers.
The newest Sang’gres in this newest re-quel of “Encantadia” was revealed on Monday namely Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez and Glaiza de Castro.
Director Mark Reyes said in previous interview that this reiteration of the fantasy show is not a remake but a “retelling,” noting that there will be changes in the show’s story.
