“Eat Bulaga” fans have probably noticed the absence of Paolo Ballesteros from the noontime show since the latter part of last week. There’s a rumor that Paolo may have been suspended by TAPE Inc. for his rants on Facebook about an event on March 10.
According to Abante, there just might be truth to that rumor, considering Paolo’s continued absence on the noontime show.
Paolo has not deleted his rants yet on Facebook, wherein he complained about the inefficiency of the producers of an event, which he did not specify then. According to his rants, he and the rest of the hosts for the event arrived at the hotel but were not taken care of by the event organizers. They waited for over an hour but did not receive any instructions as to what will happen during the event.
Kalyeserye’s Lola Tidora said on Facebook:
“E tutal hanggang ngayon wala paring nagsasabe sa amen kung anong mga magaganap, pati mga makeup artist namen at wardrobe andito na sa room lahat kame CLUELESS, at wala atang may alam sainyo kung ano ang magaganap, oorder nako ng redhorse at iinom nalang ako sa kwarto ko ok. Wag nyokong IISTORBOHIN. Bow. Shot na”
(Since up to now no one’s saying what will happen, even our make-up artist and wardrobe (specialist) are here in the room and we’re all CLUELESS, and no one among you knows what will happen, i will order redhorse and drink in my room, ok. Don’t disturb me. Bow. I’ll take a shot now.)
What event was Paolo referring to?
It turns out that TAPE, Inc. was the sponsor for the dinner of Ad Summit Philippines 2016 , which was held at Subic, Zambales on March 10 . The full force of “Eat Bulaga” dabarkads hosted the dinner program, but Paolo was noticeably absent.
There’s no word yet as to when Paolo will go back to “Eat Bulaga”. According to Abante, TAPE President and COO Tony Tuviera still has to talk to Paolo first.
Paolo’s fans are hoping that any problem could soon be ironed out. The versatile actor is being sorely missed on “Eat Bulaga”, especially on it’s ‘Kalyeserye’.
