Some Filipino netizens called Cesar Montano a “hokage,” a popular colloquial term derived from the popular anime ‘Naruto’ referring to a person (usually of a masculine gender) who is skillful on wooing women and at most is sexually suggestive in nature. This entertainment headline was also met with negative reaction and criticism to the parties involved. Many even resulted to “shaming” the Japanese celebrity.
The Japanese film star who worked with Cesar Montano in the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry ‘Nilalang’ was obviously dismayed at how one playful remark which she claimed to be a joke spread uncontrollable like wildfire online. Maria Ozawa later went on her social media to clarify the whole controversy and express her distraught.

Cesar Montano and DJ Mo Twister has yet to comment on this whole ‘Ozawa joke gone wrong’ debacle; but it begs the question, why is it such an accomplishment for celebrities to sleep with each other; especially if one has a sexy image? Why should people care or comment on things that they themselves may very well be engaged in? Whether it was a joke or not, why do people shame those engage in consensual adult activities?
