The second part that some Kapamilya fans think as insensitive was when Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards are goofing around exchanging “What do you call” jokes.

Maine Mendoza playing as Yaya Dub playfully asked Alden Richards, “Ano ang tawag sa pusong sumusugod?” (“What do you call to a heart that likes to attack/charge?“). Alden, then asks “Ano? (“What“).
Maine finally delivers the punchline by saying,”Eh, di heart attack” (“What else, but a heart attack“).
Some Kapamilya fans think that this is a direct allusion to how Wenn Deramas passing which was via cardiac arrest (or heart attack). Inflamed fans are quick to jump to conclusions and started sharing some alleged exclusive scoop that the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has summoned the staff of Eat Bulaga! for the statement by Jose Manalo in “Kalyeserye” episode last Tuesday March 1, 2016. MTRCB denied such rumors in the fact-checking done by PEP.
Was there really an ill-intention from the side of Eat Bulaga’s Maine Mendoza and Jose Manalo for making such seemingly offensive and insensitive jokes that somehow alludes to the passing of the associate to their rival show, or this is simply a classic case of misinterpretation or seemingly senseless bashing done by dedicated fans?
To whatever it is, one thing is clear though; a well-loved personality, friend, and family member passed away and people are grieving. There should always be sensitivity and civility in the way of how people conduct themselves. Whether they are fans or celebrities, people must know their place and at least be civil enough to set aside their differences, stop pointless accusations, and making a mockery or even an allusion to something that people are currently too sensitive to process.
