Derrick Monasterio on Instagram, answered back an AlDub fan who assumed that the ‘Delilah’ for which the Kapuso singer is talking about is Maine Mendoza. “Guys FYI po Wala akong pinapatamaan sa posts ko sa please stop!! I just love the songs im making a cover, of thats it! Be open minded!,” he wrote.

The Derrick-Maine pairing started from a video showing the two of them on the set of “Vampire Ang Daddy Ko” and their accidental meet-up in Subic on Valentine’s Day. They were also seen in a bar of the hotel where GMA Network held its trade launch.
The issue was also triggered by a radio report by Cristy Fermin on her program “Cristy Ferminute” on Radio Singko on February 19 where she allegedly revealed that that Mendoza and Monasterio admitted that they went out on a date on Valentine’s Day in Subic.
