Ai-Ai and Wenn worked together for the trilogy “Tanging Ina” under Star Cinema, under which the comedian earned her title as Blockbuster Comedy Queen. As close friends, the two had a falling out with each other when Ai Ai accused Star Cinema’s “Beauty and the Bestie” of cheating during last year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Wenn is the director of “Beauty and the Bestie,” the closest box-office rival of their movie “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore.”
