Fans of Jennylyn Mercado were worried after knowing that she’s now doing a movie project under ABS-CBN movie outfit Star Cinema. After working with Kapamilya actors Sam Milby and Jericho Rosales, the Kapuso star will be paired up with John Lloyd Cruz. This is the first time the two will be working on a project together.
Technically, this will be Jennylyn’s first project with ABS-CBN. Though this isn’t the first time Star Cinema (the movie production outfit of ABS-CBN) got a talent from a rival network, fans are still worried that Jennylyn has now a chance, or possibility to become a Kapamilya with this movie.

Worried Kapuso fans immediately got an assurance from Jennylyn after she tweeted that she might have a GMA Telebabad show this second quarter. Her last drama project with GMA Network was “My Faithful Husband” with Dennis Trillo.

Slated to be released this summer, the movie will be under the helm of Cathy Garcia-Molina.
