It’s the season again for the nomination for the “2016 Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards” and four of our celebrity teens are nominated, namely Kathryn Bernardo, Enrique Gil, Maine Mendoza, and James Reid.
They are nominated in the Favorite Pinoy Personality category, according to article by James Patrick Anarcon on Pep.ph dated February 4, 2016.
“Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards” (KCA) is a yearly awards show which is usually held on a Saturday night, either in March or April. The show honors the year’s biggest television, movie, and music acts, as voted by Nickelodeon viewers. The show features many celebrity guests and musical numbers. The show is also known to cover people with the network’s trademark green slime.
Previous KCA nominees include Daniel Padilla, Sarah Geronimo and Charice. Daniel was named as last year’s “Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards”, “Global Slime Star” but failed to win the Asia Act award. He bested other nominees, including YouTube star Jamie Curry, bands CD9 and Union J World and Brazilian singer Luan Santana.
The winners of the “29th annual Kid’s Choice Awards 2016″ will be decided through online voting and it opened last February 2, 2016 in 22 categories across music, film, and television, through the website www.kcs.nick-asia.com/vote. The awards will air live on March 12, 2016, and will be held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.
Daniel Padilla was the first and only Filipino young artist to win the award. Who will be the next to win an award from KCA? Any of the four local celebrity teens deserves to win an award.
