So what happened with Manny’s account?
The contentious remark of Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao on the issue of same-sex marriage has generated negative reactions from netizens as well as LGBT celebrities. His remark earned the ire of netizens and quickly spread like wildfire on social media. In fact, the video shared on the Facebook page of “Bilang Pilipino” has over 33,000 shares as of press time.
He said sorry to LGBT community for comparing homosexuals to animals after a day after his opinion stirred controversy, and received commentaries from different walks of life especially the celebrities.
So what really happened with Manny’s verified Twitter account?
The twitter handle existing now @MannyPacquiao is a new account created some time in August last year. The account @mannypacquiaotr with 2.58M followers is a fan account handled by Top Rank.
But as far as I know, we’re following a million plus verified Twitter account of him a year ago. So what happened with that account? Was it hacked or what?
But what we know now about his newest account, there’s nothing to worry about, Manny did not lose millions of followers because of his negative LGBT remarks.
