Kapuso comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas was one of the local celebrities who immediately took to their social media accounts to expressed their shock and relay their condolences to the family of Deramas.
It was a short a heartfelt message, “Mahal kita💚💐”
Direk Wenn Deramas admitted that he was hurt by the comments made by Ai-Ai delas Alas regarding the alleged cheating in the last 41st Metro Manila Film Festival, but he stood firm in what they believe, their movie “Beauty and the Bestie” is number one in the box office of the MMFF against “My Bebe Love.” A month after, Ai-Ai finally ended the issue on which MMFF 2015 entry is number one and decides to simply move on.
According to the blockbuster director Wenn Deramas in an interview last month, he haven’t had the chance to talk with Ai-Ai delas Alas for a long time (the last was when his brother died and Ai-Ai expressed her condolences).
Direk Wenn received his very first Best Director Award in 2010 at the Metro Manila Film Festival for the movie “Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na ‘to!)” topbilled by Ai-Ai.
