11. BB Gandanghari
Born as Rustom Cariño Padilla a.k.a. BB Gandanghari is a popular transgender actor and film maker. He is the older brother of action star Robin Padilla.
BB Gandanghari started his showbiz career as a matinee idol and action star using his real name Rustom Padilla and marries actress Carmina Villaroel, but filed annulment after several months.
He became one of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition” housemates in 2006. During the show, he surprised the public when he admits his true sexuality. In 2009, BB Gandanghari is officially introduced as Rustom Padilla came out as a trans woman and share his plans about undergoing “sex change surgery”.
Though his family and brother Robin Padilla had hard time accepting BB Gandanghari, he still managed to stay strong and prove that showbiz industry can love BB Gandanghari. Since then he already appeared in different TV shows and movies.
