It was the first time Atom and Pia Wurtzbach talked in a split-screen shot. Atom asked Pia when she will be back in the Philippines during ABS-CBN’s “Umagang Kay Ganda” last January 5, 2016.
His co-hosts in the morning show started teasing them and Atom even told Pia that he is understanding when it comes to her schedule and he is not the jealous type.

According to Mommy Carol on Facebook, if ever Atom and Pia fall in love, she will accept Miss Universe 2015 as her daughter in-law because she seems kind and intelligent. Atom’s mom was surprised when her son joked to Pia live on “Umagang Kay Ganda” because the latter is very shy.
Atom is 7 years older than Pia and both have their own achievements that their parents are proud of. Time will tell whether Atom and Pia will take their friendship to the next level.
