In an interview by Inside Edition on January 25, 2016, the newly crowned Miss Universe said she’s thrilled to be joining the team for next month’s game in Santa Clara, California. In the said article, Pia Wurtzbach said,”This will be my first time experiencing the biggest night in American sports, and I’m excited to take viewers behind the scenes in the lead-up to the big event.”
