Broadcast journalist Karen Davila features a popular novelty shop that is famous for being environmentally conscious and selling products that are mostly made from recyclable materials tomorrow (Jan 19) on “My Puhunan.”
Get to know the Paterno siblings, the family behind Papemelroti, which takes pride in using scrap cloth, old newspapers, and other items that are made into accessories, home decor, and gifts.
Patsy Alejandro Paterno, one of the siblings, shared that they all learned from their mom the value of one’s imagination and creating things to earn money when she was still alive.
Following their mother’s example, the five siblings learned to do business with a conscience – one that is socially and environmentally conscious. The store was also named after their own names (Patsy, Peggy, Meldy, Robert at Tina).
