3. ”Radio Host, DJ & Commentator” Lest we forget, Kuya Germs started as a disc jockey, Eddie Ilarde’s sidekick in the radio program “Ngayon Naman” on CBN. In 1969, he transferred to another station as a substitute announcer and was given his own time slot from 11 p.m. to 12 mdnight for “Bisita Artista.” His influence on the radio industry continued until the last decade of his life where he hosted a 1-hour show on DzBB during weekdays at 2:30 p.m.
