When interviewed on “Tonight With Boy Abunda”, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach told Tito Boy that after all that has happened to her in 2015, she is still the same Pia that we know.
Despite winning the Miss Universe crown, she remains humble and grounded.
As the reigning Miss Universe, Pia told Tito Boy that she keeps reminding herself that winning the title won’t ever happen again in her life. So, she is not complaining and is not getting tired of performing her obligations and responsibilities as Miss Universe. She loves every minute of it.
But what will she do after her reign ends?
Pia explained that she does not want to go on an identity crisis so she is just enjoying her reign but, she has future plans about her career path.
In her interviews with TWBA and with Bandila, she consistently said that she is not closing her doors to politics. Although she has been promoting causes and advocacies, very much similar to what a public servant does, Pia admitted that she needs more experience and credentials first before she enters politics.
She also told Tito Boy repeatedly that she won’t leave showbiz, she loves acting.
One proof of Pia staying in showbiz is that she plans to take the one-year scholarship at the New York Film Academy College of Visual Performing Arts. This scholarship is one of the benefits of winning the Miss Universe pageant.
If ever she is given an opportunity to act once again, she would want to play her dream role as a Filipino James Bond girl.
She admitted that she has not been contacted yet about her dream role as the James Bond girl but, she’s definitely waiting. And as everyone now knows, when Pia wants it, she gets it.
So there, Miss Universe has grand plans for her future. But in the fast talk with TWBA, she revealed a lighter side about her immediate plans. Asked by Tito Boy what’s really the first thing she’ll do after her reign, Pia’s eyes widened like a little girl and she happily answered, “Eat! Hahaha” What? “Pan de Sal. Everything!”
