Despite the heavy traffic and hot weather, Filipinos were excited to see Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach ‘s Grand Homecoming Parade with her motorcade starting from Hotel Sofitel in Makati to the Araneta Center in Quezon City.
During the motorcade, Pia was greeted by showers of confetti and cheers from fellow Filipinos. Maine Mendoza a.k.a. “Yaya Dub” of Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye was in the crowd and personally congratulated Pia on her triumph.

Jonas Gaffud, president of Mercator Artist and Model Management, expressed his delight as he received a call from Pia who said Maine waved at her during the parade.
