Fans are asking and wondering why Ferre’s account disappeared last Sunday.
That may not be a big deal for some, but for ‘Kalyeserye’ fans and the AlDub nation as a whole, that is sad news. Twitter has provided a home for ‘Kalyeserye’ fans worldwide. It is where they achieved their record-breaking 41 million tweets for the #ALDubEBTamangPanahon on October 24, 2015.
Jenny Ferre, the creative force behind the ‘Kalyeserye’, which revolves around the love story of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza (a.k.a. Yaya Dub), has always been popular on Twitter.
A lot of fans are lamenting the deactivation of the account. Speculations abound as to the reason why it has vanished from cyberspace.
Some say that Ferre was bashed after she said in a YES magazine interview that the face-to-face meetings of Alden and Maine were restricted to keep the “magic” alive. This was done in the ‘Kalyeserye’ where a split screen is used. Not only that, she added that the love team’s personal meetings outside of the ‘Kalyeserye’ were also limited for the same reason.
Meanwhile, others are saying that Ferre is probably feeling the heat from fans who are clamoring for more interesting developments after the ‘Ang Tamang Panahon’ concert. Some appear to be fed up with the “third party” angle as the constant source of conflict for AlDub.
In recent episodes, Yaya Dub seemed to like a certain “Jake” who Alden is jealous of.
Whatever the reason behind the deactivated account, a lot of ‘Kalyeserye’ fans say it is the chemistry between Alden and Maine that really matters. They have expressed support for whatever will happen to AlDub in the ‘Kalyeserye’ in the future.
