Roxy Liquigan, Star Cinema Ad Prom director, said “Beauty and the Bestie” made ₱438.9 million as of January 8, 2016.
She made the announcement after posting a tweet about Vice Ganda and Coco Martin’s movie. It drew mixed reactions from followers.
Some congratulated and complimented Star Cinema, while others were dismayed at Ai-Ai delas Alas’ attitude.

Last January 5, 2016, GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar revealed “My Bebe Love” (MBL) made P300 Million last January 2, 2016. On that note, “Beauty and the Bestie’s” gross income is higher than MBL’s by P138.9 million.
Roxy even uploaded a photo on January 9, 2016 on Twitter, showing that until now, “Beauty and the Bestie” is still fully-booked.
Fans of Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, and the JaDine love team will be happy to know that “Beauty and the Bestie” has extended its screening nationwide to January 14, 2016.
Let’s hope this controversial issue is resolved once and for all. Fans should remain calm and be a good sport no matter what the results are.
