However, the fact that everything is like a wheel, it not normal to be always on top.
For me, it is okay not be a star in a generation you belong to. As long as you don’t stop being an actress/actor, you will last longer than those who are on top. Jacqueline Jose, a legit actress in Philippine TV, was not a top star in her generation like Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos but until now, she has a lot of projects from GMA Network which top stars during her time don’t have.
Some of them were forgotten. I didn’t say that Aldub would be the same, but it should not be erased in the lists of possibilities in the future. Why? People expect more and new top stars. If those expectations fail, they lose interest.
Moreover, if a top star had reach the peak of fame, he has two options: to remain and maintain the current position which is a difficult thing or to go downward and leave the highest point. The #EBSaTamangPanahon, I can say, is the Aldub’s peak point of phenomenon.
Now, it is a challenge for them to maintain as “phenomenal” or bravely gratify their fans as they step down.
Whatever the result is, AlDub will still be a part of history in Filipino TV. As they fall from the world of prominence, to be highlighted in their timeline is a pride.
