While Leah (Nadine Lustre) enjoyed watching Clark (James Reid) stripping in a police uniform, cops were furious at the scene aired on “On The Wings Of Love” on January 11 (Monday).
Angered police officers and PNP sympatizers took social media to demand actors and producers an apology for using police uniform as clothin for male strippers. The stills of Clark and Leah, in the latter’s bridal shower went viral after a PNP member shared the photos in a facebook group.

PRESS STATEMENT ON “OTWOL”
“On the Wings of Love” would like to apologize for a short scene that aired last Monday (January 11), which unfortunately showed the main character Clark dancing as a policeman for Leah in her bridal shower. The program has called the attention of its production team and assures the public that there was no intention to disrespect the sanctity of the Philippine National Police (PNP) uniform. We do not want to jeopardize our good relations with the PNP and will make sure that it will not happen again.
