10. Tonton Gutierrez & Glydel Mercado : (married for 12 years)
Glydel shared their secrets on keeping marriage with Tonton intact, in an interview posted on Pep.ph. She said “Compromise is a big part of our relationship, whenever there’s a problem or we don’t agree on something, we talk it over peacefully, no shouting or cursing at each other.”
They got married in 2004 after living together for six years and will be celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary on March 5. They have two daughters, Aneesa (13) and Aneeka (5). Glydel also added that “trust is also an important aspect in our marriage, and it’s ok if you have some misunderstandings, for me it is one of the spices in a marriage, it adds excitement to the relationship.”
