According to the article published by Philstar.com on December 12, 2015, Wally Bayola collapsed in a gig in a famous comedy bar “ Zirkoh”.
Those who witnessed the said incident said he didn’t collapse on the stage while performing, it was when they exited the stage, Wally whispered to one of his co-performers to assist him as he is not feeling well. They added that he passed out when they reached the dressing room.
There were reports also that ,Wally and Jose have multiple requests on guesting and schedules on different shows and gigs aside from their regular show in ”Eat Bulaga”. These two comedians has other shows also aside from their regular gig at Zirkoh and in Klowns and sometimes they would go home in wee hours. Most of the times they would just sleep in the car to get some rest on their way to another scheduled gig.
Wally would always accept gigs, and would never turn-down any of it since he has to earn and save a lot for the medical needs of his daughter who has cancer.
This is not the first time that Wally had this kind of incident. Another incident happened on the 20th Weeksary (December 3, 2015) of AlDub, everything was normal and everyone’s happy with the segment they are doing that afternoon, when all of a sudden Wally collapsed during the show.
That episode was about to end with Jose Manalo already summarizing what had happened during the Kalyeserye episode. At first it was noticed that Wally was touching his forehead and bowing his head, then closing his eyes and touching his chest. As soon as Jose finished his spiels, Wally fell face down, alarming everyone. Alden helped the Rogelio’s carry Wally towards the ambulance. As he was brought inside the ambulance, Paolo Ballesteros (Lola Tidora) made light of the situation by saying, “Ate, don’t follow the light!” Paolo even grabbed the orange wig of Wally as he lay inside the ambulance. It was a tense moment but they manage to calm the situation on the set.
Wally is really on top of his well deserved career, and it shows how good he is on what he do. He loves his family and especially his daughter who is fighting cancer. But it’s not a crime for him to slow down a bit and prioritize his health.
