Many celebrities have been involved in many controversies regarding some videos, and Wally Bayola was one of them.
It was in September 2013, that a video of the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” comedian came out, it was with another woman, who was identified as one of the show’s dancers. Shortly after that scandal, he was not visible in the succeeding episodes of the show.
In an interview, Bayola mentioned how surprised he was that his family’s continuing support and love for him.
In February 2014, Bayola made an emotional return to the show after a 5-month hiatus, and in ‘Juan For All, All for Juan’ segment, Wally repeatedly said sorry to Jose Manalo, whom he considers as his only big brother and best friend. “Sorry I did not listen to your advises,” Bayola said. He also apologized to the show and its audience, asking for a second chance.
Netizens positively received Bayola’s return to the noontime show, a lot of them saying they believe Bayola deserves a second chance.
But unknown to everyone, there was still unresolved issue concerning Wally. In an article, it was mentioned that after that scandal, Wally was allegedly prevented to appear in the Coca-Cola, sponsorship segment in the ‘Juan For All – All For Juan’ to avoid the product’s involvement to bad image, inspite of Bayola’s expressed regret and public apology.
But Bayola, proved himself worthy on the second chance given to him, by doing his best in his role as Lola Nidora character, and giving good moral advises to the viewers specially the youth. Reminding them repeatedly in the segment to show respect and love for the elderlies.
His appearance in the Coca-Cola Christmas commercial is so heartwarming, uplifting the ‘Spirit of the Season’ by showing more kindness, mercy, peace and reconciliation.

Thanks to “Eat Bulaga” and TAPE, Inc. for giving Wally a ’second chance’, and also to Coca-Cola for including Wally in the latest TV Commercial of the AlDub Loveteam of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, that gesture shows that ‘Christmas’ is indeed about loving and forgiving.
