14. CharDawn
Who could forget the love team of Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta? They were the reel to real pair during the 90’s that popularized the move which Vice Ganda called “i -Dawn Zulueta mo ako” in the movie “Hihintayin Kita sa Langit”.
That guesting on Vice Ganda 2 years ago showed just how popular the CharDawn love team still is, after all these years. Fast forward to August 2015, the love team comes up with a film that blasted all expectations at the box office, “The Love Affair”. The movie registered total gross receipts of 300 million pesos, making it the 13th highest-grossing film in the Philippines.
This was followed by a teleserye titled “You’re My Home” which had the CharDawn as its lead stars. The ABS-CBn Primetime Bida series also include Jessy Mendiola, JC de Vera, and Sam Concepcion as part of the cast, was launched in November.
