A very popular talent search contest “Tawag ng Tanghalan” almost seven decades ago is making a comeback soon on Philippine television. Contrary to the early articles published, “Tawag ng Tanghalan” will be part of ABS-CBN’s weekday noontime show “It’s Showtime” based on the latest teasers uploaded by their official YouTube account.
‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ is a talent search all over the Philippines during 60s, with producers searching every region in the country for new talents. In this talent show, Superstar Nora Aunor (1968), Pepe Pimentel (1955), Bobot Mortiz were discovered.
