Miss Colombia 2015 Adriadna Gutierrez posted a very emotional message on her Instagram account expressing what she felt after the major pageant mix-up of Miss Universe 2015 and Congratulating the Philippines for getting the Miss Universe Title last Sunday, December 19, 2015.
A whole lot of stories has been circulating around and there was a huge uproar from people all over the world about the “honest mistake” of Steve Harvey announcing her as the Miss Universe 2015.
Amidst the undeniably the biggest confusion in the world of Miss Universe pageantry and the only few minutes of fame as Miss Universe 2015, Miss Colombia Adriadna Gutierrez posted in her Instagram account the following words, ” After the storm comes the calm. I want to thank each and everyone of you have sent messages of support and strength.” She also mentioned how fortunate she is and thankful for all the support she received worldwide. Miss Columbia Ariadna Gutierrez also said, ” Your destiny is written for you, and my destiny was this.” She was referring to bringing happiness to her country as Miss Universe even for a few minutes.
The most touching part of her message for me as a Filipino was when she congratulated us for having our New Miss Universe after a long time. Miss Columbia expressed it by saying, ” I also want to congratulate the Philippines for their new Miss Universe. The happiness that you must be feeling must be incredible..”
She ended her post saying Life continues even after what happened and we can only find out in the future why things has happened the way it is.
All I can say, Miss Colombia Adriadna Gutierrez is indeed a real Beauty Queen inside and out. I know how hard it is sometimes to accept these kinds of situations and I applaud her for keeping her regal and grace.
