Maine and Julie Ann Walk of Fame “stars” in Eastwood City was destroyed according to an article that I read by Ricky Lo at Philstar.
I recently wrote an article about some AlDub nation fans enraged with the news about Alden Richards and Julie Ann, I just thought, is this propably connected?
According to the article, the “stars” at the Walk of Fame of Maine Mendoza and Julie Anne San Jose were partially destroyed. Just like what I thought it is being linked to the recent war between the fans of Maine and Julie Anne after the incident of a GMA Network director confirmed about that Julie Ann is indeed Alden Richard’s Girlfriend. Even if the director already said that he was misunderstood and that is not the case.
German Moreno more commonly known as “Kuya Germs”, was deeply saddened by the incident. He was also quoted in the article saying, “Bakit naman dumating sa ganyan ang pangyayari? (Why does it need to come up to this point?).” Kuya Germs also added, “It’s okay for fans to support their idols pero huwag naman (but not) violent.”
The good news is Maine and Julie Ann Walk of Fame stars were made of bronze and only the enforcement around was destroyed.
Kuya Germs says that the “stars” are being repaired but the big question now is Who did it? Was it really done by enraged fans of Maine and Julie Ann? If so, was it because of the rumors circulated just recently about Alden and Julie Ann?
If this is indeed done by their fans, then it is really getting too personal and out of hand just to support your idols. We can support our Idols in a lot of ways that does not include being violent.
Anyway, Let us just hope that the police will be able to identify the suspects caught on the CCTV surrounding the Walk of Fame to avoid speculations and pointing fingers at each other.
