Just this February this year, Kyla moves to ABS-CBN to continue her singing career and she said that she will be moving on to something new. In an article in Bandera, another singer of GMA Network in 10 years is allegedly reported to transfer to ABS-CBN, she’s none other than Jonalyn Viray.
In the article of Ervin Santiago, it has been months since the exclusive contract of Jonalyn to GMA Artist Center has expired.
Luckily, Ervin was able to have a quick talk with the GMA singer and asked if this means that she will be transferring to ABS-CBN next to Kyla?
Jonalyn bravely answered the question and stated that she’s open to more challenges for her career and more than willing to try working in a new network; it can be in ABS-CBN, TV5 or still on GMA Network. The most important for her is to continue her singing career and nothing else.
Despite of her expired contract to the network, Jonalyn had paved her way and owe everything she had experience from 10 years in the industry; stating that without GMA Network she would not have been successful and able to sold-out tickets for the concerts and shows through its keen and very handful management.
She was offered to join the “Sunday Pinasaya” but she refused because she is not yet ready for comedy and instead focus herself in singing to produce more powerful concerts and albums.
On her upcoming projects:
Jonalyn Viray would like to be on stage and perform with some Kapamilya singers that she admires such as: Piolo Pascual, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos and many other singers in ABS-CBN. There are also vast amount of projects that are line-up by her manager. She also chose not to burn bridges to anyone she has work in the past 10 years.
