Paolo Ballesteros turned 33 last November 29 and was greeted by a lot of well-wishers on social media. They greeted Keira Claire too, Paolo’s daughter who shares the same birthday as her father.
Yesterday, November 30, Lola Nidora (Wally Bayola) said she enjoyed the birthday party of Paolo, the handsome guy from the barangay. Paolo, who was dressed for the role of Lola Tidora, thanked Dr. Vicki Belo for the big cake he received.
Upon hearing the word “ang laki” (very big), Joey de Leon said Paolo should now be more sensible or serious in life because his child is already big. (Malaki na yung anak ni Paolo ha? Dapat matino na sya.)
Paolo reacted by laughing and then he said, “Tanggap na niya”. Does this mean his daughter has accepted him? Or was he in fact saying that he has accepted himself for who he is or his behavior? Take note, that Paolo was talking as Lola Tidora when he said those words.

Anyway, let’s not make a mountain out of a molehill. “Eat Bulaga” hosts are known for their witty banter and for joking with each other almost every day.
You just have to look at the path that Paolo Ballesteros has taken throughout the years, to see that he hasn’t done a major thing to hurt his career. He is an accomplished actor-comedian, with a string of tv shows and films to his credit. He has come a long way since he was awarded as Best New Male TV Personality by PMPC Star Awards for TV way back 2002.
Paolo’s cross-dressing and make-up transformations have been accepted by his fans. In fact, everyone loves and admires his talent in impersonating male and female celebrities both in the Philippines and abroad. He is even known worldwide as the King of Transformation, with international publications and websites bowled over by his make-up artistry.
As part of the trio JoWaPao, Paolo’s career has reached new heights, especially with the popularity of ‘Kalyeserye’. Just in his early 30s, we expect Paolo Ballesteros to continue growing as an actor-comedian. As for his being King of Transformation? No one has really come close to stealing his crown.
