On December 4, 2015 Blogger Michael Sy Lim aka Fashion Pulis and Deniece Cornejo meet during an event and decided to put the libel case behind them.
It was remembered that Deniece Cornejo filed a libel suit against Fashion Pulis which started from a blog post where he insinuated that Cornejo have sexually transmitted disease based from a leaked medical report. Fashion Pulis was arrested on August 11, 2015.
Although both parties are willing to settle and Deniece is just waiting for Fashion Pulis’ apology, they didn’t have an opportunity until last Friday.
In his Instagram post, Fashion Pulis said that “in the spirit of Christmas” he and Deniece “decided to put our differences together.” He offered his apologies for hurting her feelings.
A day later Deniece posted the same picture and said on her part that she accepted Fashion Pulis sincere apology.
All’s well that ends well. Last Saturday Deniece Cornejo decides to drop the libel charges she filed against Fashion Pulis. According to her lawyer Fernando Topacio, “As legal counsel of the lovely Ms Deniece Cornejo, I confirm that my client and Mr Michael Sy Lim, aka Fashion Pulis, have come to terms regarding the subject of a cyberlibel case filed by my client against Mr Sy, who has publicly apologized and which apology was accepted by Ms Cornejo, in the spirit of the season. Part of the agreement was that my client would cause the withdrawal of the criminal complaint against Mr Sy. They have also agreed henceforth to become friends.”
Well it’s one down, one more to go for Fashion Pulis as he’s still facing charges from Liz Uy over the comment he made on Maine Mendoza’s gown. That’s another story.
