XB Gensan, a hip-hop dance group represented the Philippines in a gruesome dance competition held in Switzerland just this morning. In the very recent “Dance2Dance: The World Streetdance Showcase Competition” in Zurich, Switzerland, the vibrant dance group XB Gensan wins the top prize this early morning Sunday, Manila time.
With over a hundred groups of dancers from the Philippines who auditioned, XB Gensan was chosen to represent the country in an international hip-hop dance competition called Dance2Dance.
XB Gensan wins Dance2Dance most coveted grand prize among 10 other tough competing groups from all over the world. Lugging behind is Russia on second place and United States as the third placer.
XB Gensan members were from General Santos City. The group first rose to fame when they bagged the top prize on a talent search contest first edition of “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN network.
XB Gensan has already expressed their gratitude via a status update on their Facebook page- “Magandang Umaga PILIPINAS!!! PROUD TO BE PILIPINO!! PROUD GENERALS!! SALAMAT sa lahat ng mga nag pray at walang sawang sumuporta! We all love you guys! Salamat sa Showtime Family at sa mga nagmamahal sa amin lalo na sa aming pamilya. XB Gensan proves that Filipinos are world-class performers and Anne Curtis took a moment to express her happiness for the group in her Instagram post.
ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime” hosted a perfect send-off for XB Gensan this November 2015.
