Banana Split new time slot will be every Sunday and entitled “Banana Sundae” at ABS-CBN. This might be airing at the same time with Willie Revillame’s show. Direk Bobot Mortiz the director of Banana Sundae was asked then regarding the new time slot given to them but he did not confirm the time slot.
Rumors have been spreading that Willie is having sentiments about Banana Sundae aired simultaneously with his show. Since they used to be best of friends with Direk Bobot Mortiz and he felt like he is competing his show.
Direk Bobot stated that he has no idea as to what time on Sunday, Banana Sundae will be aired. He also stated that there is nothing wrong with that since they have a different concept and audience. So there will be no competition between the two shows. According to Direk Bobot, Willie even asked him about it but he said no update was given to him, he said its just their job so they have to be professional.
Before, Banana Split was aired every night after Bandila at ABS-CBN. Until now there is still no timeslot revealed only Sunday November 15, 2015.
There will be lots of changes that will happen in Banana Sundae that is not shown in Banana Split, It will be improved for the viewers to watch. Some of the segment will still be there like the Kantaranta and Baby Love.
According to the Executive Producer Rocky Ubana. It will be another night of laughter. Viewers will have to standby for the exact time of the airing of Banana Sundae.
