In the Philippines, when Ber months come, we start to list what we are going to do on Christmas. We start saving our money for December shopping, etc. That is how Filipinos are excited for Christmas. Same goes with the TV networks. It is just November and yet, we will start to see Christmas Station IDs of each of them, every day.
Tomorrow, on November 12, the two biggest TV networks in the country will both release their Christmas Station ID that they have been working on. We are talking about ABS-CBN and GMA Network.
In a very rare occasion, both TV stations promote the same theme on their songs, which is about “LOVE”. But it shouldn’t come as a surprise, really, because we all know that Christmas is about love. We are always being reminded that we need to love each other, our family, our friends, our enemies and even our neighbors.
The main question that may be on your minds right now is this time, who sang the Christmas Station IDs of both networks? For starters, both giant networks used the most popular recipes, the love teams. For ABS-CBN, they chose 3 of their powerful love teams right now. That includes KathNiel, JaDine and last but not the least, LizQuen. If you think these 3 love teams make the song overloaded already, read more. Bamboo sang together with the popular love teams in the recording video ABS-CBN has released.
Let’s not forget the title of their song, it is “Thank You For The Love”. Such a very modern and refreshing song. As to the details about who will be featured in the official music video of “Thank You For The Love”, there is no confirmation yet. Although, ABS-CBN also uploaded this teaser which features Piolo Pascual.
What about GMA Network’s Christmas Station ID? They decided to feature Alden Richards’ voice for the entire song. The Pambansang Bae usually sings ballads, but this time, he rocked the GMA song which is very modern and upbeat, too. It is titled “MaGMAhalan Tayo Ngayong Pasko”.
The official music video of GMA’s station ID will feature their biggest stars including Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Vic Sotto, and of course, AlDub. We will also see the GMA News and Public Affairs personalities.
It is great that both networks promote that we should unite and love one another. No matter how different we are from each other, may respect and understanding conquer all these differences.
