The Eat Bulaga’s epic episode “Sa Tamang Panahon” held at Philippine Arena garnered so much adulation from fans everywhere. On the said event, Yaya Dub looked regal with her long gown while Alden Richards looked dashingly handsome on his suit courtesy of celebrity stylist Liz Uy.
Some would have agree that Liz Uy did a terrific job in providing perfect styling for the AlDub loveteam but for some Liz Uy earned negative comments from critics and one blogger went vocal and wrote about it.
Last November 9, 2015 at the Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati, Liz Uy together with her lawyer Atty. Lorna Kapunan filed cases against Fashion Pulis blogger and site owner Michael Sy Lim which include grave slander and 6 counts of online libel.
Friends of Liz Uy like Isabelle Daza and Isha Andaya of Preview magazines supported her and serves as the witnesses for the slander case against Fashion Pulis.
After Liz Uy filed cases she then post hashtag #StopTheHate on her social media account. With the help of her showbiz and celebrities friends around the #StopTheHate hashtag was being spread across various social accounts. These friends are; Solenn Heussaff, Heart Evangelista, Julia Barretto, Jessy Mendiola, Isabelle Diaz, Georgina Wilson and Iya Villania as published on Pilipino Star Ngayon.
With friends promoting the hashtag #StopTheHate, could this be their way of showing support for Liz Uy? Moreover, could this pave the way for a possible reconciliation between Liz and Fashion Pulis?
Uy’s counsel Atty. Lorna Kapunan said they are open to settlement with Michael Sy Lim, the man behind Fashion Pulis. Can we expect this soon?
