There have been four news reporters who have decided to leave GMA just recently, for a variety of reasons.
Michael Fajatin posted a few days ago on his Facebook page that he will be leaving GMA Network, which according to him, he has served wholeheartedly for almost 2 decades. He talks about embarking on a new chapter in his life so he could fulfill his personal responsibility and to find meaning and purpose as an individual and in his interactions with other people.
Fajatin used to co-host the morning show “Kape at Balita”, together with Susan Enriquez, Joel Reyes Zobel, Mariz Umali and Valerie Tan. Said show aired from October 2012 to August 2013. He also became a field reporter for Brigada Siete and Saksi. His earliest job in GMA Network was as segment producer for Arnold Clavio’s “Emergency”.
Prior to Fajatin’s departure, Dante Perello and Hadji Rieta has also left GMA Network.
